How do I obtain the CO₂?

You need to ask for a 20lb or 50lb tank with a siphon. Industrial grade CO₂ is acceptable for use with horses.

What kind of CO₂ is used?

Liquid CO₂ with a siphon. Food grade or industrial grade is acceptable.

Do I need to be a veterinarian to use the Subzero device?

No, you do not need to be a veterinarian to use Subzero. It is designed for ease of use by horse owners, trainers, and equine professionals with clear instructions provided.

Do I need any certifications to use Subzero?

No, you do not need any special certifications to operate the Subzero cryotherapy device. The device comes with a comprehensive manual & extensive in-house training, its design allows for safe and effective use without specialized certifications. It's recommended that you check with your state laws and any equine governing bodies to stay up-to-date on any restrictions for therapeutic modalities at horse shows, races and other events.

What does the training entail?

You will complete the online training and then set up a video call with one of our trainers to complete your certificate. A protocol guide is included for easy access to protocols while on-the-go.

What do you need for the training video call?

You are required to have completed the online training, have your device, a tank of CO₂, and a horse to demonstrate on.
